Ohio HOA Law
Ohio HOAs operate under the Nonprofit Corporation Law and recorded CC&Rs. Ohio does not have a comprehensive state HOA act equivalent to Florida's F.S. 720.
Columbus
Columbus City Code Chapter 2157 defines oversized vehicles as those over 21 feet. These vehicles may not park on residential streets more than 24 consecutive hours. Vehicles under 21 feet follow the standard 72-hour rule. Driveway parking is generally permitted for all sizes. Columbus 311 handles complaints.
Cleveland and Cincinnati
Both cities enforce 72-hour limits and are generally permissive about driveway RV storage. Newer suburban developments in Westlake, Strongsville (Cleveland area) and Mason, Blue Ash (Cincinnati area) have active HOA governance.
