Utah HOA Law
The Utah Community Association Act (Utah Code § 57-8a) governs planned community HOAs with notice and hearing requirements before fines are imposed, but does not restrict what parking rules may be adopted. Utah has no Arizona-style protection against HOA RV parking bans.
Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City Code § 12.56.050 enforces a 48-hour street limit — the same as Denver. Driveway parking is generally permitted under standard conditions. SLC 311 handles code enforcement complaints.
St. George and Southern Utah
St. George is one of the fastest-growing Utah markets and attracts significant retirement community development — communities that tend toward active HOA governance. The city enforces a 72-hour street limit but many newer St. George subdivisions have HOA restrictions on visible RV storage.
